Will I get to see The Goonies House?
The short answer is yes! Every Goonies fan will have a chance to glimpse the iconic house during Goonies Weekend, although access levels will vary. The generous homeowners have opened their doors for this special event to help raise funds for the Oregon Film Museum’s Expansion Project. Proceeds from house events will go directly to support the museum.

JUST VISITING
While there will be street closures in the area to avoid traffic and a neighborhood mess that will affect the neighbors who will be living their daily lives nearby, you will be able to park in the East Mooring Basin Lot (assuming it is not full) located at Leif Erickson Drive and 36th. This is a paid parking lot. From there you will walk and walk up the hill to the house. This walk is .3 miles and should take about 9 minutes. You will not be able to get on the property of the house but you can take photos from the end of the driveway. This is the access that is normally available to Goonies fans throughout the year. You will be able to get a photo of the house only during listed visiting hours. There will be limited seating on shuttles that run from the Armory to the house available.
BUS TOURS
Guests who purchase a Filmed in Astoria Bus Tour will be able to have their photos taken on the porch of the house in the icon spot where the boys stood as the mean developers harassed them. Our onsite volunteers will use your camera to snap the photos so you will have it immediately available to use. The bus will drop you off at the end of the gravel driveway. The walk is about 220 feet or 1 minute up to the house.
VIP COCKTAIL HOUR
The most exclusive house visit is our VIP Cocktail Hour. This ticket is extremely limited and will give you access to the house while you mix and mingle, have a drink or two, and get photos with the attending cast and crew. At 6:30pm a bus will transport you from The Astoria Armory and drop you off at the end of the gravel driveway. Our team will then escort you onto the property for the event. The walk is about 220 feet or 1 minute up to the house. At the end of your experience, the bus will return to The Astoria Armory - just in time to see the costume contest.
PORCH VISITS
Guests who purchase a porch visit will be able to access the porch of the house and have their photo taken in the iconic spot where the boys stood as the mean developers harassed them.
